Time to Kite

Well its been almost 4 months since I last kited. 2 of which I have been living in Fiji and unable to get into the water. The case of a small accident and then not having a bar and lines has been really bad. Many a day have I been on the beach in Natandola and watched the perfect conditions with no one out.

That time is over. This weekend i am heading off to an Island called Nananu-i-Ra. A 2 hour drive from Lautoka whereI live up to the north of the main island Viti Levu, then a short hop across on a boat to one of the main kiting places in Fiji. The guy there who runs the kiting school and owns the resort is lending me a bar and lines so here we go.

I will update you with some more photos once I have been there. Cant wait to get into the air. Lets hope the knee holds out.

My kiting is coming along but it is Feb and the winds are shite this side...Can't wait for May.

Only had the one bar. When Sin sold me the 10.5 he sold it to me at a good price without the bar and lines. I just cant afford to buy a replacement yet so am working towards that.

Hows your new kite? Sounds like you are progressing leaps and bonds or is it jumps and back rolls.

Hey Craig. The other bar and lines got totally wrecked. The lines got caught on the window I went through and snapped and the bar broke in 3 places, no shit. No parked cars here bro, just lots of palm trees.
