No problem with answering any questions, just have to ask and will reply ASAP.
First thing is that I would suggest getting some proper lessons, let me know where you live and I will direct you to a reputable school/instructor. With the lessons you will at least know all the basics and if anything happens what to do so you dont drown!!!
You will be amazed at how fast you will progress, simply be knowing the basics..
A wakeboard can work, but I would not recomend it as it has completely diffarent rocker lines and will be much harder to learn and stay up-wind, can be very frustrating. I can speak from experiance as I have tried a wakeboard before and was no good and did not enjoy the session at all.
