KITESPORTS started as one of the first IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) fully recognised Kitesurfing schools in South Africa, and has since built a reputation for its outstanding quality and service. From starting as a single kitesurfing school in Durban, KITESPORTS has grown into a network of schools around Southern Africa, currently offering lessons in Cape Town, Durban, Sodwana Bay, Margate, Sterkfontein Dam and Mozambique.

KITESPORTS is renowned for its service and reputation, making our kiteboarding schools the most popular along our coastline. Being the first to introduce teaching with two way radios, KITESPORTS is innovative and sets the way forward for the highest level of teaching in the safest and quickest way possible.

The KITESPORTS instructors currently have a combined teaching experience (both local and International) of over 12 years and are all fully qualified and endorsed IKO Level 1 and 2 Instructors.

Our KITESPORTS schools are equipped with the latest Flexifoil kites and safety gear, which contributes toward ensuring that your kitesurfing lesson is safe, efficient and enjoyable.

The KITESPORTS schools cater for a variety of kitesurfing levels and abilities, therefore offering Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced kitesurfing lessons. Our policy is to take no more that two students per instructor, but one-on-one kitesurfing lessons are also available so as to provide for your individual needs

The FLEXIFOIL/KITESPORTS HUB is situated in Umhlanga Rocks, with each of our kitesurfing schools in the KITESPORTS network having carefully selected locations for your kitesurfing lessons, in order to ensure an enjoyable and safe learning experience.
